Our School CommunityOur mission statement is lived out most effectively and our school community functions best when each part of our school family knows its role and does it well. That is our goal at St. Francis Catholic School. From our pastor, Fr. Mike Oenbrink, to our students, we all have a role to play. Our principal, Dr. Mike Rockers, is in charge of the school. Our school board, headed by board president has an important consultative role. Our parents understand that they are the initial and primary teachers of their children, especially in helping them grow in their relationship with Christ. Our teachers do their job very well and our students do their best to meet our high academic and behavioral expectations. St. Francis Catholic School is known for its parental support. We have 230 students from 140 families attending our Pre-K through 8th Grade school. With this in mind, it is amazing that we had nearly 250 adults at our first Family-School Association (FSA) Meeting this year. That type of turn-out is just another indication that our parents put their children first and want to support our administration, faculty, and staff. |
